The Staff Logo
The Staff is a DHARMA Initiative station. It is the medical station where Claire was taken after being abducted by Ethan. It is presumed the fully operational staff was preparing her for a forced birthing. After her escape the station was abandoned. The station's name and location was noted on the blast door map, it appears it is located close to the beach-camp. No Staff-specific Orientation Film has been found. Also unlike the The Swan and The Arrow stations, there is no "Quarantine" warning on any of the doors.

Theories
- Claire saw the Medical Station in a clean and professional looking condition. This was due to the drugs that were in her system and some form of mind control (made her see things the way she was told they appear). What we see when she returns is the way it actually looked the whole time.
- At some point between Claire's escape and her return the Medical Hatch was abandoned. When and why?
- Mr. Friendly and associates still use theatrical costumes when moving around on the island, but it seems as though the Medical Hatch has been hastily emptied and some of the theatrical gear has been left behind.
- If the Escape Hatch has been painted over, is it a way to camoflage a still-active area of the medical station? Are the theatrical costumes still in use?
- Why tip over the fridge if you're leaving in a hurry? Was there some violence?
- The scrambling in the exam room on the night that Claire escaped had something to do with Goodwin being impaled by Ana Lucia (both happened on day 27)
- Is it possible Alex was also raised in a similar nursery, if not the same room?
- When we see Claire exploring the nursery during her time with Ethan in Maternity Leave she activates a mobile which shows Oceanic planes spinning around over a cot to the tune "catch a falling star and put it in your pocket". In the episode "Raised By Another" Claire dreams of finding her baby in a blood filled cot with an identical mobile on top, when interviewing a proposed couple to adopt her baby she asks them to sing the song "catch a falling star and put it in your pocket" as she claims her dad used to sing it to her - this suggests others have contact with the outside world to receive this information
